Actually this is not just another Contron album. Or, this is just another Contron album, which means you cannot meet deception here. Back for this early 2019 release, contron, once again, sunk the mothership. With his unique, delicate and balanced kind of perfect lofi anthems, Contron is once again hitting the bull's eye, with astounding mixture of darkest possible folk influences, all of them blended with a great, great contemporary art of sound, achieving somehow excellent blend of what makes our lives nowadays. Don't be surprised if the stories told here sound like your own, prepare yourself to be blown away by a great kind of sentimental and moving way to write songs. If I had to sum up, I wouldn't. Just give a listen.
I know this review is a bit short but I also know that what has to be said about this album can be summed up briefly: you will love it, probably, and never let it down.
Also note the presence of some interesting new paths in Contron work, with, as an example, drums, and, the further we go, the better it gets. I follow contron since his very begining.
Totally perfect for the sadness of our times.
I think I can still, nevertheless, can reach the 250 words milestone which is a minimum for a release to be accepted here. Let's try. Maybe a word counter would be a good idea here. But if I had just to put random words inspired by this release just to get the counter climbing, I would say, Winter, Fall and Autumn.
