So then Calyman, pursuing the publishing of its astounding series of singles, just bundled the most recent ones in three albums, and it's about one of them that we are talking today.
So then it is electronic music... But with vocals, which makes a great difference. I won't lie to you, the music is deeply influenced by the 90's electronic sound, and all that it involves, from Kraftwerk and Suicide roots to the melodic evidence that was the mark of some music in the decade.
Spanning from ambient to plain dance music with also more complex pieces, the album is very colourful and, generally speaking, is really a masterpiece. Inviting you to a musical ride with extra surprises all along the way, it will never get you bored.
I would suggest this album, especially, to rock fans who are not afraid by electronic sounds. Because, clearly, there is a rock influence in this electronic music, talking about the musical writing and general feeling. Rock fans may found themselves in known land when listening to this opus.
To sum up, I think the Libre Music scene will remember for long the exceptional series of singles that Calyman issued (and keeps on issuing !) and this collection proves it easily. May he keeps on publishing such good music for a long, long time. He can be sure that listeners will be at the rendez-vous, as you can notice watching the album listens counter.
Definitively, you should check Calyman's music. He's one of the most noticeable, and one of the most noticed, artist of this scene, and I have nothing more to add to this.
